Born on 22 July 1975 in Warsaw.
On 19 December 2017, he was appointed the Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. From March to December 2017, he served as Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence. From October 2014 to February 2015, he chaired the Sejm Committee for Liaison with Poles Abroad.
He became actively involved in politics in 2005, when as an expert for Eastern policy and Polish community issues he was appointed Prime Minister’s Advisor.
In 2005–2007, he cooperated with Secretary of State at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister Adam Lipiński and coordinated work of the Interministerial Team for Polish Diaspora and Poles Abroad.
In 2008–2010, he served as an Advisor on Polish diaspora and Poles abroad of the late President of the Republic of Poland, Lech Kaczyński, focusing on awarding Poles in the former Kresy and supporting Polish communities in the East.
He graduated from the Faculty of History at the University of Warsaw. After graduation, he voluntarily completed military service. For many years, he was a scout and an instructor of the Scouting Association of the Republic. He has been working in various organisation for over 20 years, including the “Polish Community” Association, the “Aid to Poles in the East” Foundation and the “Freedom and Democracy” Foundation, which he founded.
In 2006–2015, he was a member of the Council of the Capital City of Warsaw, serving then as a councillor of the Regional Assembly of Mazowieckie Voivodeship. In 2015, he became a deputy to the Sejm. He is married to Agnieszka and has four children.
