Łukasz Paweł Schreiber (born 26 May 1987 in Bydgoszcz) – Polish politician and member of the local government, Member of the 8th and 9th term Sejm, Secretary of State for Parliamentary Affairs at the Chancellary of the Prime Minister since 2018.
In 2009, he graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń with a bachelor's degree. In 2013, he was granted a master's degree in administration at the Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz.
In 2014, he was elected member of the City Council in Bydgoszcz, winning the largest number of votes of all candidates.
In 2015, he ran for office in the parliamentary election as a representative of the Law and Justice party and won a seat in the Parliament. In the 8th term Polish Parliament (Sejm), he was, among others, Vice-Chairman of the Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee, member of the Public Finance Committee and Chairman of the Permanent Subcommittee for monitoring of the tax system. He was also a member of the Constitutional Accountability Committee and the Extraordinary Committee for the review of draft bills in the field of electoral law.
In November 2018, he was appointed to the position of the Secretary of State for Parliamentary Affairs at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. He was also Vice-Chairman of the Permanent Committee of the Council of Ministers.
He was a junior chess champion of Poland and represented Poland at the European and World Championships. He wrote a book titled "Sulla 138-78 BC", devoted to Lucius Cornelius Sulla, one of the most eminent leaders of the Roman Republic.
He also used to run a second-hand bookshop.
