Andrzej Adamczyk
Minister of infrastructure

Born on 4 January 1959 in Krzeszowice. Sejm deputy of the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th term of office from the region of Kraków.

He has a university degree in economical sciences, specialising in accounting and finances in enterprise management.

He worked in Przedsiębiorstwo Przemysłu Betonów “Prefabet – Kreszowice”, and then at the Chief Mechanic Office in Chrzanowskie Zakłady Materiałów Ogniotrwałych. Employed at the Investment Department of Rejonowa Spółdzielnia Zaopatrzenia i Zbytu (Regional Cooperative of Supply and Sales) in Krzeszowice since 1982. Since 1984, he worked in the Restoration and Construction Unit of the Cooperative in Sianka near Krzeszowice, succesively as site foreman, site manager and Chief of the Restoration and Construction Unit.

Member of the Małopolska Chamber of Construction Engineers. He confounded the movement of Civic Committees of trade union NSZZ “Solidarność” in the western part of the then Krakowskie Voivodeship as from late 1980s. Councillor of Krakowski Poviat in 1998–2005.

Long-standing Vice-Chair of the Sejm Infrastructure Committee.

Member of Law and Justice since autumn 2001. Head of structures of Law and Justice in Kraków district. He has been the Minister of Infrastructure and Construction since November 2015.

He was awarded the title of the best Sejm deputy in 2012 and of the whole 7th term of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland in a plebiscite by Polityka weekly.
