The session of the Social Committee of the Council of Ministers

Within the Social Committee we will continue the previously undertaken actions and prepare proposals for solutions for the Council of Ministers in response to social problems - said Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Gliński, opening the session of the Social Committee of the Council of Ministers on 4 December this year.

Accessibility Plus Programme

The Social Committee read the information of the Minister of Funds and Regional Policy on the functioning of the "Accessibility Plus" Programme. Currently, the tasks amounting to PLN 5 billion, in which various state institutions are involved, are being implemented.

Support for single parents

The Social Committee read information of the Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy on state aid for single parents, in particular those at risk of social exclusion. In the opinion of the head of the Social Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Gliński, in the last four years a lot has been done to improve the situation of families in Poland, including single parents. The Social Committee instructed the ministries to review the solutions supporting single parents and to present the Committee with proposals for possible changes.

Remuneration subsidies for disabled employees

The President of the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled People presented the Social Committee with information on the requirements necessary to obtain remuneration subsidies for disabled employees. The Social Committee acknowledged the information and obligated the Fund to review the solutions concerning possible procedural simplifications.
