What we have here is a modern facility, which courageously blazes the trail in the industry 4.0, said the head of the government during his visit to the Amica SA production site.

Amica SA is the largest Polish manufacturer of household appliances. The Company is traded on the Warsaw Stock Exchange and continues to lead the Polish market of household appliances, despite growing competition from abroad.

Huge technological progress has clearly been achieved here in managing to combine human work with progressive automation and innovation, said Mateusz Morawiecki. He also noted that apart from creating value in the household appliance sector, Amica is also one of the most recognizable brands in Europe.

The Prime Minister also touched on the fact that the facility is not focused solely on its business, as it also supports and co-finances training of young football players at a modern football school, a pursuit which is aided by the state. He went on to add that football is also a growing branch of the country’s economy and it is crucial that we take pride in the fact that Poland raises more and more world class football players.

We wish for Polish football to be known across the world and this education system works Mateusz Morawiecki also recalled that the government is currently implementing a number of programmes and investments in sports infrastructure which will allow young people to hone their skills under best conditions possible.

The Prime Minister also paid a visit to an agricultural farm in Podmokle Wielkie, where he talked to local farmers about the drought, subsidies and the ASF. Polish agriculture and the Polish countryside are matters of national interest, concluded Mateusz Morawiecki.
