Prime Minister in the Senate: We must save as many enterprises as possible

The Head of the Government urged the senators to adopt the Government’s anti-crisis package, which is meant to support the Polish economy during the coronavirus epidemic, as quickly as possible.

The Prime Minister explained that the Anti-Crisis Shield is designed in such a way as to enable the flow of funds to employers and employees. He emphasised that the solutions which form the Government’s package are among the first to be proposed in the world. Ensuring financial liquidity is a prerequisite for survival for many enterprises stressed Mateusz Morawiecki.

The Head of the Government said that he believed that the crisis caused by the coronavirus epidemic would negatively affect the economy of every country in the world. The scope of the crisis is expanding and adverse scenarios are starting to play out, so we must act quickly stated Mateusz Morawiecki.

The Prime Minister listed protection of jobs and maintenance of manufacturing and service capacities as some of the most important challenges during and after the crisis.

We must aim for the same goal and try to develop good solutions. We want to counteract this crisis in a proper manner said the Head of the Government.
