Prime Minister: I want to thank the firefighters for their readiness, vigilance, bravery and heroism

You are great heroes of our every-day life, because you help others. And the whole Poland is grateful for this said the Prime Minister during the family picnic on Firefighters’ Day in Rypin, Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship.

During his speech, the Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki listed some firefighters’ rescue actions, highlighting their heroism. He pointed out that there were 500,000 such actions last year in Poland. As he assessed, somewhere in Poland, firefighters start an action every minute.

The Prime Minister thanked the firefighters for their readiness, bravery and heroism. He also addressed the firefighters’ families, thanking them for their support.

During the celebrations, the Prime Minister handed over the awards for the nearby voluntary fire services (OSP) with over 100-year tradition, and he visited Fire Service’s stands.
