"Right at the end of 2019 Poland is completely different than 4 years ago. Much has changed for the better, and we will continue along the same path"- said Mateusz Morawiecki in Godziszów, Janów poviat.

The head of the government emphasised that "all the government programmes - 500+, 300+ and the Local Government Roads Fund were possible thanks to the tightening of tax system". As he added, "we recovered several dozen billion PLN from the hands of tax offenders".

Prime Minister also noted that the effectiveness of the Polish system for combating tax fraud has been recognised by the European Commission, the World Bank and other international institutions.

Mateusz Morawiecki stressed that Poland should develop steadily. As he announced, to that end "we will allocate further billions for the repair of local roads, so that they will be an incentive for entrepreneurs". He also presented new government programmes for Polish entrepreneurs, including Small ZUS plus, flat-rate PIT and Estonian CIT.

"I wish that the desire for grand, prosperous and happy Poland would be permanently present in our homes and would be a guideline for all politicians - it will certainly be for our government" - summed up Prime Minister.

The building of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister has an interesting history. At the beginning of the 20th century it housed the Cadet Corps. During World War I it served as a hospital. In September 1939 it was bombed, and the parts which were not destroyed (the northern wing and the ground floor) were converted into SS barracks.
