Privacy Policy

The Chancellery of the Prime Minister respects the privacy of users. We are committed to ensure that each person visiting the website knows how to protect his or her privacy. That is why we encourage you to read our Privacy Policy.

  1. By using the website, you accept the rules of our Privacy Policy.
  2. We collect all data in two ways:

  • Information provided voluntarily by the user  - personal data is required from users filling in the registration forms in the ”Media” section (online press passes, SMS notifications).

Information in server logs - our servers automatically record such data as page requests sent by the user, date and time of the request, hardware data (e.g. equipment type), browser type, browser language, operational system type, IP address and cookies.
IP address - each computer connected to the Internet has a unique number, that is the IP address. Based on the IP address we may, for example, identify the country from which a given user logs on the web.
Cookie files - small text files which a website sends to your device (computer, smartphone, etc.) when you first visit a site. We use cookies to:

  • improve your user experience - cookies recognise your device and display the website adjusted to your individual preferences;
  • create anonymous statistics of the website to better recognise the needs of our users and develop the website to make it even more user-friendly.

Web browsers most often by default allow for storing cookies on the user’s computer or smartphone. However, web users can manage cookies and disable them. You can just choose the "disable cookies" option in your browser, but if you do so certain functions of the website may not work properly.

  2. The data is administered by the Chancellery of the Prime Minister with its seat in Warsaw, Al. Ujazdowskie 1/3.
  3. The website is hosted by an external provider - Centuria sp. z o.o. - which also provides the telecommunications line for the servers. Based on the agreement concerning the above-mentioned services, this company has been entrusted with personal data. It is processed according to our Privacy Policy and using adequate means of ensuring confidentiality and information security.
  4. The data is collected in order to provide certain services to our users and for administrative and statistical purposes as well as to protect the website and our users.
  5. We use a third-party analytics provider (currently Google Analytics) to analyze the data collected through the session and persistent metrics cookies. The third-party analytics provider does not receive personally identifiable information through these cookies. Please review the third-party analytics provider’s privacy policy for additional information.
  6. Personal data collected via registration forms in the “Media” section is used solely for SMS notifications and issuing press passes online. It may be made available to entities cooperating in organising the given event.
  7. The user has the right to access and edit his/her personal data. Upon the user’s request we also stop collecting and processing this data or remove it from the Chancellery of the Prime Minister’s database.
  8. We realise that we are responsible for protecting the data entrusted to us by the users. We treat security matters extremely seriously. That is why we make efforts to protect the website against unauthorised access of third parties and we control our methods of collecting, storing and processing information. We use, for example, firewall, server security devices, encryption devices and physical security measures. Access to data is granted only to those employees and entities that need to have such access in order to process the data only for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy.
  9. Implementing the basic idea of the Internet, we publish links to other websites on However, we are not responsible for the privacy policy on such websites. When changing to another website, we encourage users to familiarise themselves with the applicable rules.
  10. In the event of changing the Privacy Policy applicable to the website, we shall immediately publish relevant modifications on this sub-page.
