Minister of maritime economy and inland navigation


Born on March 13, 1968 in Nowy Sącz. Engineer and manager, former Minister of Maritime Economy in Jarosław Kaczyński’s government.

He graduated from the Faculty of Marine Power Plant Operation at the Maritime University in Gdynia, post-graduate studies in digital telecommunications at the University of Technology and Agriculture in Bydgoszcz; he also completed a wide range of specialist courses in management and finance. Officer on Western shipping companies’ vessels, worked in transport and construction companies. He held executive positions in a number of commercial companies. Expert for maritime economy at the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland.

In the European Parliament, he worked in the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy and the Delegation for relations with the People’s Republic of China.

Married. Father of two sons - Hubert and Maksymilian.
