Minister – Member of the Council of Ministers


Born on December 17, 1957 in Jawor. Deputy for the Sejm of the V, VI, VII and VIII term.

Graduated from the History and Philosophy Faculty of the Wrocław University.

Since 1980 she worked as a teacher, since 1991 she was a school head, first at the Primary School No. 2, and then in the Comprehensive Secondary School Complex in Jawor. She was among the first certified teachers in the Lower Silesia region. She received a number of awards for professional achievements, inter alia she was awarded the Medal of the National Education Commission.

Co-founder of the trade union "Solidarity" in Jawor. When the trade union was delegalised and after the introduction of the martial law, sha became the activist of the underground movement. For participating in a demonstration on August 31, 1982, she was sentenced to three months of imprisonment and then she was fired and victimized for her stance and views. IPN awarded her the communist victim status.

Awarded the Gold Medal of the National Section of Education of NSZZ "Solidarność". After the reactivation of the trade union in 1989, she became the Chair of NSZZ "Solidarność" Enterprise Commission of Education Employees in Jawor. She held this post until the appointment to the post of the school headmaster.

For two terms, she was the Chairman and Deputy Chairman and defence counsel in the Province Governor’s Disciplinary Committee for teachers. She was a juror in the Labour Court for four years.

In November 2011, by the decision of the Law and Justice Political Council, she became a member of the Political Committee of the party. In July 2015 she became the Spokesperson of LaJ.

Married. Has two daughters - Marta and Gabrysia.
