The interlocutors highlighted the importance of intense bilateral cooperation, with particular consideration given to the issues related to the economy and infrastructure projects. They discussed the issues on regional cooperation, including as part of the Visegrad Group. They pointed to a need to jointly take care of the interests of the Visegrad Group countries in the international forum. A significant part of the talks was devoted to the issues concerning security and cooperation of Poland and Czech Republic under NATO.
President Miloš Zeman is staying in Poland as part of his three-day official visit. This is the second foreign trip of the President of the Czech Republic following his swearing-in which was held on 8 March 2018.
