The Prime minister called for reliable reporting on coronavirus

During the government's communication on the coronavirus in the Sejm, the Prime Minister appealed for this matter not to be used for political games between parties. We are all on a battlefield, but let it be a field of battle against the coronavirus, not a front for political struggle. Here we all have to be on one side said the Prime Minister.

As Mateusz Morawiecki pointed out, the anxiety of the Poles can easily be compounded by irresponsible reporting. Let us avoid that. Please remain calm and professional said the Prime Minister. As he said, the most up-to-date information on the new virus can be found at gov.pl/koronawirus.

The first cases of the disease have already been reported in the Czech Republic. As the Prime Minister emphasised, our country is preparing for its arrival in the best possible way.Our unified approach – calm, neutral and cross-party– is important in order to properly prepare the society for an epidemic he explained.

The head of government stressed that we must cooperate with all political forces to minimise this threat and fight for public health together.

Mateusz Morawiecki reminded how important it is to observe the basic rules of hygiene, including hand washing. He also pointed out that additional purchases of materials necessary for hospitals, including masks, were made in Poland. Special information rules were prepared for all travelers, primarily those coming from China, South Korea and Italy. I implore everyone to follow them said the head of government.
