The first allowances for families which suffered in rainstorms in Podkarpacie have been paid out

Over PLN 400 thousand has already been transferred to the accounts of the communes whose residents suffered as a result of the storms.


8 communes affected
 

As a result of the rainstorm which took place at August 13-14 night, residents of 8 Podkarpacie communes suffered:

  • Krasne,
  • Łańcut commune,
  • town of Łańcut,
  • Tyczyn,
  • Czarna in Łańcut poviat,
  • Boguchwała,
  • Rzeszów,
  • Chmielnik commune.

On 14 August, commune self-governments sent to Podkarpacie Province Governor preliminary estimates concerning the needs related to payment of special-purpose allowances. On Monday, the Governor received the minutes from the work of the commune committees, which are verified on a regular basis.

Funds from the Governor’s budget have already been transferred to the accounts of four communes. The assistance in the total amount of PLN 436,377 will be provided to 97 families (as of 18 August, 3.00 pm):

  • Boguchwała: assistance for two families in the amount of PLN 12,000,
  • Chmeilnik: assistance for three families in the amount of PLN 16,000,
  • Czarna in Łańcut poviat: assistance for 33 families in the amount of PLN 133,077,
  • Krasne: assistance for 59 families in the amount of PLN 275,300.
