By assuming this very important position of a voivode, you play a significant role in the region - said Prime Minister, addressing the newly appointed voivodes. He stressed that the heart of Poland beats equally strong in big cities as in small towns, in poviats and in communes.

Mateusz Morawiecki stressed that the voivodeship offices are an integral part of the whole state apparatus, which ensures the presence of the state in every corner of Poland.

He reminded that the efficient tightening of the tax system in the last four years contributed to a huge increase in income of local governments. This increase should go hand-in-hand with higher efficiency, less bureaucratic burdens and faster procedures - noted Prime Minister.

At the end, Mateusz Morawiecki emphasised that together with the voivodes the government will strive to improve the state, so that public services are more and more accessible to all citizens and applied in a friendly manner in various areas of social life.

Today, Prime Minister appointed upon the request of the Minister of Interior and Administration:

Lech Sprawka, the Lublin voivode;
Tobiasz Bocheński, the Łódź voivode;
Konstanty Radziwiłł, the Masovia voivode;
Łukasz Mikołajczyk, the Wielkopolska voivode.
