The head of government said that the problem of paedophilia should be given systemic priority. For this reason legislative action is important, which leads to amendments to the Penal Code said the Prime Minister. Prime Minister Morawiecki also invited the opposition to join the committee for investigating cases of paedophilia and emphasised that the committee’s work shall be underpinned by openness and transparency of actions.

The head of the government also made a reference to the issue of assistance for people with disabilities. We want to provide PLN 500 a month to people with disabilities who are over 18 years old and do not receive a disability pension said the Prime Minister. At the same time, he expressed hope that the draft law on this matter would be submitted to the Sejm in June this year.

It is estimated that the government’s support will cover over 500 thousand people. The money is to come from the Solidarity Fund for Supporting People with Disabilities as well as from the funds provided by the Trade Tax Act. The support will be a very important step towards relieving those who have been most wronged by life explained the Prime Minister.
