Mateusz Morawiecki emphasised that teenage children encounter such content more and more often, which results in disruption of, among others, their perception of sexuality and leads to severe emotional disorders in the future.

Just like we protect children and young people from alcohol and drugs, we should also verify access to pornographic materials continued the Prime Minister.

Mateusz Morawiecki stressed that online access to pornography is a difficult topic, which is why today’s discussion shows how important this issue is and how many children it affects. This problem was pointed out by multiple non-governmental organisations.

The Prime Minister informed that the government wants legislation concerning access to pornography to be drawn up in the near future. He also added that stricter requirements need to be imposed on companies and entities which provide access to pornographic materials; they will need to have full access verification, depending on age category.

Let us look after the mental health and emotional development of children and young people appealed the Prime Minister.
