Prime Minister: We want Central Pomerania to have the best connections for business, tourism and investment

The head of the government attended a briefing meeting on the construction of the S6 and S11 expressway sections in the Zachodniopomorskie Voivodeship. The section of the S6 expressway connecting Kołobrzeg and Koszalin and part of the Koszalin and Sianów ring road will soon be completed. Soon drivers will be able to use the entire 130 kilometre-long section of the S6 expressway between Goleniów and Koszalin. This is a great major improvement for both tourists and businesses. Our efforts are directed towards creating foundations for economic development the Prime Minister continued.

The S6 investment will reduce travel time from Szczecin to Koszalin by about 40 minutes. The Prime Minister admitted that he himself experienced how hard the drive was on this section, which he had taken on several occasions. The new route connects Koszalin and Central Pomerania with the network of expressways and motorways. Before the investment, there were no expressways in this part of the region.

Construction of further sections of the S6 and S11 expressways is planned in the years to come.
