Prime Minister: We have an offer tailor made to suit the needs of small and medium entrepreneurs

Today, the Prime Minister visited Piekarnia Ciastkarnia Król in Katowice, where he spoke about the government’s proposals for entrepreneurs. One of them envisages an average ZUS discount of PLN 500 for companies whose revenues are below PLN 10 thousand, with monthly income of up to PLN 6 thousand. This puts the annual revenue threshold at PLN 120,000.

He went on to add that the need for such a solution has been signalled by the entrepreneurs themselves, when the Prime Minister visited such establishments as car repair workshops, barber parlours, or small bakeries.

The Prime Minister assured that the entrepreneurs with higher turnover, higher revenues and higher income, and who are currently subject to the 19% flat tax rate and are paying a flat ZUS rate, will continue to do so.

Mateusz Morawiecki also discussed the proposal of raising the flat rate from EUR 250 thousand to EUR 1 million, and subsequently to EUR 2 million, which presents an opportunity to reduce bureaucratic burdens for small companies.

Furthermore, the government will allocate PLN 1 billion towards new investments in economic zones declared the Prime Minister.
