Over the next few years, we will have some important decisions to make in relation to climate protection, multiannual financial framework – i.e. the EU budget, external policy and trade policy regarding large global competitors said the head of the Polish government.

The discussion was preceded by a meeting of the heads of Visegrád Group national governments. Next, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and the V4 group spoke with the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Angela Merkel, the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, and the Prime Minister of the Italian Republic, Giuseppe Conte.

I believe that most, if not all, countries agree in their conviction that the candidate for the President of the European Commission should be able to foster unity and find compromises over divisions said the Prime Minister.
