Prime Minister participated in the debate "Say Hello to History! New trends in telling history"

"Our statehood is one of the longest in Europe, with a history of over 1,000 years. We have survived a lot and I would like this inspiration from the past to have an impact on the future and to be a driving force for further actions" - said the head of the government during the meeting.

Mateusz Morawiecki stressed that history should be told in all possible ways: through sport, culture and various forms of artistic expression, for example rap. "For young people it is a stimulus for effort, discipline, and also for the desire to make the world a better place" - he added..

During the meeting, fragments of films such as "The Legions” and "Unique", as well as historical spectacle "Card from the Warsaw Uprising" were screened. A debate was followed by a discussion on how to talk about history in an interesting and inspiring way.

Apart from the head of the government, the participants to the debate included: Maciej Pawlicki - producer and co-writer of "The Legions", Adam Borowski - originator and co-producer of "The Legions", Tomasz Dobosz - director of "Unique", Danuta Nierada - co-writer of "Unique", Tomasz Okoń - originator and producer of the YouTube channel "History Uncensored", and Paweł Przewoźny (stage name "Under") - musician, rap artist.
