As Mateusz Morawiecki pointed out, the government allocates for the Fund for Municipal Roads an amount which is approximately ten times higher than the amount allocated for this Fund by the previous government.
The Fund constitutes a real support for the implementation of investment on roads managed by local governments. It is also the answer to the shortage of funds from local governments, which would allow them to modernise the road network on their own. The construction of access roads increases business opportunities for Polish entrepreneurs as well as it allows for the creation of new companies and workplaces.
The Prime Minister emphasised that the Fund for Municipal Roads improves also the quality of life for people in small localities. As he pointed out,
many projects in the whole Poland may be implemented thanks to efficient financial policy of the government.
Moreover, Mateusz Morawiecki informed of the amendments to the Road Traffic Regulations which include e.g. the introduction of the obligation to create
life corridors for emergency vehicles.
