Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki: We wish to focus on digital economy

Central and Eastern Europe is the most rapidly developing region of the European Union said the head of the Polish government during the Central and Eastern Europe Innovation Roundtable debate in Warsaw.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki participated in the Central and Eastern Europe Innovation Roundtable held at the Palace on the Isle in the Łazienki Park in Warsaw. The debate focused on cooperation between the private and public sectors.

The Head of Government said that cooperation between the debate participants will facilitate the search for the best technological solutions to be implemented and linked to the developing economies. The history of our region has taught us that we that we had innovators before, but the fruits of their talent were ultimately reaped by others he stated.

According to the Prime Minister, we can speak of the fourth industrial revolution not as an observer, but as a participant and creator. He added that Poland focuses its activities primarily on the development of robotics, artificial intelligence in the economy and entrepreneurship.

I would like for us to find the best possible way to combine all the achievements of recent years: cloud computing, artificial intelligence – which we have already mentioned – and other latest technological solutions stated Mateusz Morawiecki at the end of the debate.

In addition, the head of the Polish government met with CEO of Google LLC Pichai Sundararajan, the manager of one of the most important IT companies.
