Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki: We will provide additional assistance to all those who suffered as a result of the storm

As a community, it is our duty not to leave anyone alone in their time of need, because solidarity constitutes our obligation said the head of the government during his visit to the areas affected by the whirlwind in Lubelskie Voivodeship. 120 non-residential and residential buildings were damaged in the wake of the whirlwind. The storm affected 42 farms.

The Prime Minister participated in the briefing of the crisis management team in Stasin in Lubelskie Voivodeship, where a whirlwind passed on Tuesday. Afterwards, he met with the victims and the inhabitants of the gmina, and he examined the damage caused by the storm.

The Prime Minister ensured that all those affected by the storm will be entitled to receive additional government assistance. The State will not leave anyone on their own he stated.

The head of the government thanked the gmina’s inhabitants and the relevant services which help to manage this difficult situation. We are grateful to the Territorial Defence Forces, the Fire Service and all State authorities for their efficient work he stressed.
