Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki: The Senior+ Programme is developing

I am glad that the programme of expansion of the seniors’ centres is developing so nicely, the activity of seniors is very important said the head of the government during his visit to the Senior Club in Krzeszowice in the Małopolskie Voivodeship.

We will do everything to make the life of generation, which is in the autumn of life, a bit easier, more beautiful and more active said the Prime Minister.

During the meeting with seniors, the Prime Minister also talked about Pension+ Programme, which will also be addressed to people who do not currently have a minimum pension. As he stressed, 100 thousand applications have been submitted to ZUS in connection with the 13th pension.

From 2015, the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy has been implementing the Senior+ Programme. The aim of the Programme is to increase active participation of seniors in the social life by expanding the infrastructure of support centres in the local environment and increasing the number of places in Senior+ centres, with co-financing the activities of local government units in developing a network of Daily Senior+ Centres and Senior+ Clubs in their area.
