Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki: Sport shapes not only physical abilities, but also personality

During the visit to the Zawisza Bydgoszcz sport complex, the head of the government informed of the plans to construct a new athletics hall in which young people will practice and develop their talents.

We are pleased to announce that thanks to the established cooperation the construction of the athletics hall in Zawisza Bydgoszcz’s complex will begin soon, as we have promised the Prime Minister said at the Zdzisław Krzyszkowiak stadium. He indicated that the new hall will serve as an excellent place for physical exercises
and will contribute to the discovery of future sports talents. He added that the road to success starts from the will to improve and willingness to train, and the sooner the training starts, the better.

The Prime Minister emphasised that sports shape not only physical abilities, but also personality, as it tempers the spirit. He stressed that if sports are to have a positive impact on people’s personality and their character, it is essential to provide the youth with places to exercise and train.

When thanking the initiators of this undertaking, the head of the government declared that he is convinced that the new infrastructure will bring about further achievements in the field of sports.

Zawisza Sports Complex is one of the largest and most functional sports centres in Poland. It consists i.a. of the Zdzisław Krzyszkowiak Stadium, sports shooting range, a hall for sports gymnastics and a tennis hall. It is a good place to remind ourselves of the great achievements of our sport, and with the increasingly more modern infrastructure such as the athletics hall which we plan to build here, we can certainly expect further such successes concluded Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
