The Prime Minister emphasised that we could not forget the tragic fire in the escape room in Koszalin, in which five girls had died and one man had suffered severe burns. He pointed out that everything must be done to ensure that such a tragedy does not happen again.
This is our commitment to verify all such facilities and to prevent any tragedies that may occur, said the Prime Minister. As he added, no desire for profit should ever be satisfied at the expense of the security of citizens and the most important thing is the responsibility of those conducting such activities, of appropriate services and the Polish state.
The Prime Minister declared that the government did not want to restrict the activities of escape rooms, but they must be conducted under security conditions. He stressed that during the last month, the services subordinate to the Ministry of the Interior and Administration had carried out a number of inspections in escape rooms and other places of entertainment.
Today’s briefing at the Ministry of Interior and Administration was another one connected with the events in Koszalin.
