Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki met with the Prime Minister of Lithuania

During 28th Economic Forum in Krynica-Zdrój Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki met with the Prime Minister of Lithuania Saulius Skvernelis.

Talks concerned among others Polish education in Lithuania, economic cooperation, European migration policy and energy issues. The Prime Ministers exchanged views on rule on law dialogue with EU institutions as well as negotiations concerning Brexit and multi-annual EU budget for 2021–27.

 

In addition, Prime Ministers of both countries participated in the ceremony of awarding ‘Person of the Year’ prize awarded by Economic Forum.

This year’s laureate of the award was Prime Minister of Lithuania Saulius Skvernelis.

"I am very pleased that my friend Saulius Skvernelis was awarded the ‘Person of the Year’ prize," said Prime Minister giving the prize to laureate. "We are on the right path to make our positions on geopolitics and European policy in all areas completely mutualised and it gives us more strength," he added.
