Opel Manufacturing Poland is part of Groupe PSA, an international group. The factory in Gliwice manufactures over 100 thousand vehicles each year.  The second plant, which is currently under construction, will launch its production in 2021. The investment is worth over PLN 1 billion in total.

This is a huge promise to the whole region and a signal that our strategy for responsible development is successfully completing another stage of reindustrialisation, i.e. repeated industrialisation in the spirit of Industrial Revolution 4.0 stressed the Prime Minister.

Mateusz Morawiecki highlighted that the new factory will create hundreds of jobs expected by the Poles. The Prime Minister added that creating a good environment for national and foreign investors is the best possible way for the whole Polish society to benefit.

As the Head of Government noted, the rate of utilisation of computer systems in vehicle production is very high and increasingly more depends on the Polish workers’ ability to operate those IT systems. Our workers represent what is meant by earnestness, diligence and high quality of work stressed Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
