The Prime Minister stressed that Poland currently acts as a bulwark, fending off all kinds of threats and the Border Guard is the defender keeping our borders safe. The Border Guard’s first priority is to combat smuggling, which destroys our domestic entrepreneurship and economy. It is also responsible for bringing and maintaining security not just at the Polish borders, but the external border of the European Union as well.

The head of the government was pleased that the equipment at the Border Guard’s disposal is becoming ever more modern, as it greatly contributes to the quality with which the officers can perform their duties.

Your efforts and the work you put in benefit Poland as a whole and all of its citizens. For that, you have my sincere thanks. We are all proud of you assured the Prime Minister.
