The head of the government welcomed the fact that more and more women are active in many dimensions of social, public and economic life. He added, “I’m very happy that many women succeed in private business ventures”.

The Prime Minister recalled that at the beginning of last year The Economist published a list of countries where women had the best chance for equal treatment at work. “We ranked very high on the list in terms of the position of women in the workplace, considering such parameters as women’s participation in management or pay,” the Prime Minister continued. The weekly considered such criteria as the pay gap between women and men, maternity rights, representation of women in managerial positions both in business and in parliament.

“Equality between women and men on the labour market is incredibly important and women’s participation in the labour market is a matter of fundamental significance for the government,” said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.
