Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during the celebration of the 450th anniversary of the Union of Lublin

This year marks the 450th anniversary of establishing the Polish and Lithuanian Commonwealth. It was established by the Sejm through the act of union of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Kingdom of Poland signed on July 1, 1569.

The Prime Minister attended the anniversary mass at the Lublin Arch-See and placed a wreath of flowers at the monument of the Union of Lublin on the Lithuanian Square in Lublin.

The ceremony was also attended by the Marshalls of the Sejm and Senate, President of the Seimas and the highest ranking government officials, as well as a number of foreign guests, including delegations from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Czech Republic, and Hungary.
