The Prime Minister emphasised that the stronger and stronger alliance between Poland and the United States “gives a clear signal showing a new wave of investments from the United States, which will most likely reach Poland in the coming years”.

Poland as a hub for American gas

“Poland is opening up to gas suppliers from the United States and would like to be the central hub for American gas for Central Europe,” said Mateusz Morawiecki. He added that currently “the whole of Central Europe sees an imbalance in this matter”. The Prime Minister expressed his conviction that with the help of the United States, both Poland and the European Union and the United States would benefit from this solution.

Sustainable economic development

“The Polish economy is growing and strengthening all the time,” said the Prime Minister. As he said, “the budget deficit and public debt are getting smaller and smaller, tax revenues are increasing and entrepreneurship is growing”.

Mateusz Morawiecki also pointed to the fact that economic growth is stable and the Polish economy is developing in a sustainable way.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki emphasised that Poland will be a great place for investments, a place where it will be possible to carry out many joint business investments.  “I am convinced that the real anchor is in business. The more business relationships between Poland and the United States, the better for both countries,” said the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister stated that currently “Poland is a very strong country of the European Union,” which after Brexit will become an important ally of the United States in the Union.

The Polish-American Economic Summit
