Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at the 100th Anniversary of Poland’s Regaining Independence

On the National Independence Day the Head of the Government participated in Ceremonial Change of the Guard at Marshal Józef Piłsudski Square where he laid flowers on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

During the ceremony an Independence Roll of Honour was read.

Earlier, the Head of the Government took part in the Holy Mass for homeland at the Temple of Divine Providence. He also laid wreaths at monuments of: Marshal Józef Piłsudski, Roman Dmowski, Ignacy Paderewski and Wincenty Witos.

Mateusz Morawiecki also participated in the ceremony of awarding Orders of the White Eagle at the Royal Castle and went through the Warsaw streets with the White and Red March For You Poland.

The celebrations ended with one of the greatest light shows in Poland by the Vistula Embankments. The firework shows were accompanied by the unique 40-meter light illumination.

On the occasion of National Independence Day also the building of Chancellery of the Prime Minister was illuminated with white and red lights.
