Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki at a meeting with mining rescuers

It is a great honour for me to be with you today, because I have come into real contact with your work during the tragedy in Zofiówka said the Prime Minister, addressing the participants of the recent rescue operation at the Zofiówka mine in Jastrzębie Zdrój. He stressed that the work of mine rescuers is marked by heroism. I am very uplifted that we have such a great rescue service added the Prime Minister.

 

The head of government thanked all mining rescuers for their sacrifice, courage, service and constant readiness at their stations. As he said, all of Poland is grateful to you, I am also grateful to you and I admire your work.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki also declared that in the coming years, mining rescue will be a key unit for ensuring the greatest possible safety of life, health, and rescue in very difficult, critically difficult conditions.
