Prime Minister in Truskolasy: We are initiating the construction of a football pitch which will serve children and teenagers

The Head of Government and Minister Łukasz Schreiber took part in a meeting with Jakub Błaszczykowski during which co-financing of a football pitch in Truskolasy, the home town of the footballer, was announced.

Mateusz Morawiecki highlighted the significance of the sport training system of children and teenagers in Poland. We want to introduce creative solutions which will consist not only in copying the best solutions, but they will also be our innovative approach to football he highlighted.

Thanks to such projects, the government supports sustainable rural development and sets priority on professional sports infrastructure. We want to further develop this sports programme in various Polish gminas and poviats declared the Head of Government.

As Mateusz Morawiecki highlighted, it is all done so that children could enjoy playing football and Poles enjoyed our victories.

Jakub Błaszczykowski has sought the possibility to build a real football pitch in Truskolasy for many years. This year, the initiative was supported by the government.

The investment involves the construction of a football pitch with artificial turf. It will cost approximately PLN 1.8–2 million. Co-financing from the Prime Minister’s general reserve fund will amount to PLN 1 million.
