In April 2020, pensioners will receive an additional amount of PLN 1,200 gross. The money will be paid out automatically, without any formalities. The payment will be made regardless of the amount of the benefit received.

The Prime Minister ensured that the thirteenth pension will be paid every year. It is a fixed allowance for all pensioners stressed the head of the government.

As Mateusz Morawiecki highlighted, the annual provision falls within the Pension Plus programme, a part of which is also the increase in pensions through PIT reduction (the average annual profit for pensioners is approx. PLN 240) and pension indexation at the level of at least PLN 70. For the elderly people, the government is also implementing projects such as Nursing Homes and free medicines for people aged over 75.

It is all a great, additional impulse for those who built our present – for pensioners and senior citizens, whom we have to do justice said the Prime Minister. Therefore, we share the fruits of our growth with them he added.
