The Prime Minister declared that the government wants to help finding talents and training them. He also pointed out that “for these new talents to appear, we need to create the best possible conditions for their growth and training”.
He highlighted as well that the governmental programme aims at creating year-round facilities throughout Poland where teenagers and children will be able to practise various sporting disciplines. As he added, “previously it was thought that pearls can be only found. Today, we know that we can also help in creating them, and through such sports infrastructure we want to support our great young players”.
The objects visited by the Prime Minister during his visit included the Sports Championship School in Tychy and the Stadium of Ernest Pohl in Zabrze.
The aim of the local sports infrastructure development programme “Sportowa Polska” is to support investment tasks concerning sports facilities in the whole country. The co-financing may cover public facilities enabling mass performance of sports.
