Local Government Investment Fund
There are many gminas and poviats that have problems with their own contribution to the project. That is why the government wants to provide the local governments with funds to carry out any type of projects, e.g. repairs, waterworks, schools, kindergartens, hospitals, pavements or nursing homes, as well as other local activities.
This is a special kind of support for local governments when recovering from the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
The Prime Minister visited Lubelskie Voivodeship, including such localities as Łęczna, Lubartów, Łuków, Puławy, Opole Lubelskie, Kraśnik, Janów Lubelski, Bełżyce and Świdnik.
Recovery from the crisis through local investments and the creation of new jobs - this is necessary for poviats and gminas of Poland the head of the government stressed during one of the meetings in Lubelskie Voivodeship.
Support for local governments in the amount of PLN 6 billion
Total amount of funds under the Local Government Investment Fund reaches PLN 6 billion, of which PLN 5 billion will be allocated to gminas and 1 billion to poviats. The maximum subsidy for one local government under the Fund is over PLN 93 million. The Fund is dedicated to all gminas and poviats in Poland. The money will be granted to gminas and poviats in the form of bank transfers, at their request - without unnecessary bureaucracy.
The head of the government visited 9 poviats in Lubelskie Voivodeship, handing over symbolic cheques to the representatives of poviat and gmina authorities, totalling over PLN 190 million.
