The head of the government expressed his gratitude to the founders of this initiative for their commitment to ensuring that young people have the best possible conditions for education. Scholarships have been awarded since 2014 to students from Janów poviat for their outstanding achievements in learning, artistic creativity, sport and social activities. In 2019, the Scholarship Committee awarded 25 scholarships.

Mateusz Morawiecki also recalled the words of the late President Lech Kaczyński -  the patron of the award - that "we must care not only for the balanced development, but also for ensuring the highest possible number of the best educated youth". As he added, "today's scholarships will surely contribute to this".

"I wish you that your talents pave the way for a better Poland" - added Mateusz Morawiecki in the conclusion, addressing this year's scholarship holders.

During his visit, Prime Minister also laid flowers at the Memorial Stone commemorating the Smolensk plane crash and at the Monument to Blessed Jerzy Popiełuszko.
