If we want a stronger Europe, we need an ambitious budget. - said the head of the government. He acknowledged that the talks are not easy, not only because of the absence of a significant net contributor - the United Kingdom, but also due to the willingness of some EU countries to reduce their contributions and access to funds for countries that are rapidly developing. And you cannot do more with less money. - continued Mateusz Morawiecki.

We intend to make our partners in Western Europe understand that the European single market is a benefit for all Member States. On the other hand, Prime Minister noted that there are also many EU countries that agree with the Polish position. Investment in roads, railways, common agricultural policy, science and innovation are issues we care about - he declared.

Mateusz Morawiecki assured that bilateral talks with the President of the European Council were good. Charles Michel is working towards a compromise and I highly appreciate that. - he stressed.
