Video games are the modern face of Poland said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during his visit to 11 bit studios, developer of the multi-award winning game This War of Mine. The games tells a story of survival in a time of war; the player controls a civilian who, among other things, must make moral choices in order to obtain food, medicine or shelter.
I think that this new form of cultural expression and inquiry into the real world is very important. It shows young people how to follow good paths in life remarked the Head of Government.
Video games in the education system
According to the Prime Minister, by incorporating video games in the Polish education system we will be able to expand our imagination and bring a new element into the culture of not only Poland but also the entire world.

The company produces, publishes and distributes video games for stationary and mobile platforms. It was established in 2009 and is now listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW).
This War of Mine
The game tells a story of survival in a time of war. It is inspired by such events as the Siege of Sarajevo and World War II, including the Warsaw Uprising. The player controls a civilian – a war victim struggling to survive under difficult conditions. Among other things, the player must make moral choices to obtain food, medicine or shelter.
This War of Mine was published in 2014. Its production costs were recovered within the first two days of sale. The game was well received by critics, achieving an average score of 82 out of 100 according to Metacritic.
