Prime Minister Beata Szydło in Krynica-Zdrój: We must promote innovation, creativity and youth

We want to introduce our projects and ideas to state-governed areas, the Prime Minister said to entrepreneurs during the debate on startups in Poland, which took place in the Economic Forum in Krynica. She highlighted that new technologies should be present also in traditional industrial branches, such as mining.

The meeting, which took place on Wednesday, was also attended by the Minister of Regional Development Mateusz Morawiecki. 

Good conditions for entrepreneurship

Prime Minister Beata Szydło said that the Government acknowledges the fact that in order for Poland to develop and to be competitive we need to support innovation and creativity. We need to promote development, science, research and most of all - youth, both in the meaning of age and as the perception of the world, said the head of government.

According to Prime Minister Szydło “The Responsible Development Plan” prepared by Deputy Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki is a multi-faceted plan which concerns different fields and areas. It is dedicated to the development of both traditional and the most modern industries. Today, when we speak about mining - a very traditional branch of industry - we want mining to be based on modern technologies, said the head of government.

The head of government underlined that the government’s role is to create good conditions for startups and to help their projects to be seen. We want to introduce your projects and ideas in different state-governed areas, declared Beata Szydło. To sum up, she added that the government strongly supports development.
