Prime Minister at the opening of A1 motorway section between Częstochowa and Pyrzowice

This road will bring improvement to the quality of the citizens’ lives said the head of government during the opening ceremony for the A1 motorway between Pyrzowice and Częstochowa Południe in the Śląskie Voivodeship. The travel time at this section will shorten from 40 to 15 minutes. Two junctions were built as part of the investment, namely Częstochowa Południe and Woźniki.

The Prime Minister stressed that another great step is being taken towards connecting Silesia with Pomerania. As he added, The motorway will increase communication, infrastructure and trade opportunities, as well as the quality of life of the citizens.

Let us remember that the construction of road infrastructure has been in progress for more than just one term of office. These are certain strategic considerations, preparations, work related to obtaining environmental and administrative permits he said, thanking all those who contributed to the construction of this motorway. The Prime Minister said that according to the information from the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, the Częstochowa bypass will be completed and put into service by the end of the year.

At the end, the Prime Minister called on drivers to drive safely, “High driving culture, putting an end to maniac driving and forming ambulance “corridors of life” – let these slogans accompany the drivers in the second part of the summer as well as later throughout all the years of using this road”.
