Large families are shouldering the burden of the next 100 years of our independence and are the way to great Poland – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki to the people who attended the Large Families convention. He emphasised that the development of Polish families is the most important for his government. Credibility characterises our actions concerning social and economic policies. Therefore, we develop our social programmes and our ideas for large families are followed by actions and budgetary measures – emphasised the Prime Minister.

The head of the government went also to speak about government programmes which support Polish families, such as Maluch Plus (Toddler Plus) or Mieszkanie Plus (Apartment Plus).  He added that the women who gave birth to at least four children should have the possibility to receive minimal pension, if they fail to earn such pension. I want to oblige myself that it is you for whom we are conducting our social and economic actions, since there is no strong Poland without strong families. Owing to you and your efforts Poland will be strong, beautiful and proud. I would like to sincerely thank you all for that – said the Prime Minister.

Moreover, the Prime Minister pointed that calling large families pathological families was the measure of moral and intellectual decline of the Third Polish Republic. As he said: as an objection to such injustice, to such damage – cause those children here and all children in Poland are building great Poland of the future, the Poland of our dreams, which is something completely different from what some media and part of the Third Polish Republic’s elite tried us to believe in – a completely new policy was developed, i.e. the policy of supporting families.

The Prime Minister expressed his conviction that Europe needs large families and revival the evidence of which is the presence of large families at the convention of European countries.

During the 6th Polish Nationwide Convention of Large Families in Szczecin Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki received the statuette of The Friend of Large Families 2018.
