Prime Minister: Agriculture is the key sector of our economy

The head of the government took part in the 40th edition of the Trzebnica Orchard Festival in Lower Silesia. The event was an opportunity for farmers, fruit-growers and entrepreneurs to showcase local products and goods. About 15 thousand people took part in the revelries.

During the jubilee celebration, Mateusz Morawiecki made a point that agriculture is a key sector of our nation’s economy. He went on to inform that this year the government spent a record amount to compensate for the drought.

The Prime Minister also visited numerous stands selling regional products, handicraft made by local artisans, as well as stands with fruits from Trzebnica orchards. He said that apples are the ambassadors of the made in Poland brand in the world. The orchards of Trzebnica are among the largest fruit producers in Poland.
