- Minister Małgorzata Omilanowska, being an art historian, is a person about whom we have great expectations connected with the national revitalisation programme - the Prime Minister Donald Tusk pointed out. - We are disturbed by ugliness in the spatial order, and sometimes in the public life. What is crucial for us is to be able to direct funds from the EU and from the budget to those places which require repair, reconstruction or revitalisation - he explained.

The head of the government thanked the previous Minister, Bogdan Zdrojewski, who has won a seat in the European Parliament. - I hope the voice and style of Bogdan Zdrojewski in Europe will benefit Poland. The European Parliament is also a place where politicians take care of interests of their country - the Prime Minister emphasised.

Prof. dr hab. Małgorzata Omilanowska is an art historian. She specialises in problems of the 19th and 20th century architecture, theory of art and protection of historical building. She was a Deputy Minister of Culture and National Heritage since 2012.
