Over the next few years, thanks to the new investment projects completed on the land included in the zone, as many as 1,434 new jobs should be created, and the outlays should amount to approximately PLN 833 million. There are also estimates that approximately 287 persons will find work in the direct vicinity of the zone.

The following companies intend to invest on the private land included in the zone: Akomex sp. z o.o from Starogard Gdański (packaging manufacturer), Pinguin Foods Polska sp. z o.o. from Lipno (foodstuffs industry), Ciech Soda Polska SA from Janikowo (chemical industry), Steico sp. z o.o. from Czarnkowo (wood industry), Boryszew Components Poland sp. z o.o. from Toruń (automotive sector). In total, these five companies should create 298 new jobs and ensure that 1,343 existing ones will be kept. The estimated necessary investment outlays will amount to PLN 255.29 million.

The investment projects in question should lower the unemployment rate in Pomorskie, Kujawsko-Pomorskie and Wielkopolskie Provinces, as well as have a positive influence on the socio-economic development in the region.
