Meeting of Prime Minister Beata Szydło with the President of Senegal

Economic cooperation was the main topic of Thursday talks of Prime Minister Beata Szydło with President Macky Sall.

Apart from discussions on Polish investments in Senegal, the issue of Poland’s candidature for a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2018-2019 was addressed.

This is the first visit at this level in the history of Poland-Senegal relations. Senegal is one of Poland’s priority development cooperation partners in Africa.

In the course of the visit of President Macky Sall to Poland, agreements on political consultations, cooperation of the Ministries of Finance of both countries, cooperation of the relevant ministries in the fields of agriculture, sports and tourism were signed, as well as an agreement between Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency and APIX-SA.
