The Prime Minister highlighted that the government – both last year, this year and in the next two years – does not forget in its operations the Voluntary Fire Service (OSP).
Our unprecedented support for OSP – equipment, fire engines and their equipment, as well as lifeboats – is a financial contribution that before for many years you did not experience said the Prime Minister. As he pointed out,
the government treats OSP as a great part of the civil society which reinforces our whole state.
You build a brave and patriotic formation; a formation which also educates, and it is a great job said the Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. He also thanked all the young members of OSP all over Poland for working for the local community.
For me, the OSP is not only the Voluntary Fire Service, but also an enormous power of Poland concluded the head of the government.
The Gala was a summary of this year's edition of the
Aid scheme for fire brigade units. Its aim is to improve broadly understood security, shape appropriate attitudes and behaviours and express appreciation for those who help.
According to the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, 4,404 units of the Volunteer Fire Service (OSP) belong to the national rescue and firefighting system, including 101,888 OSP companions entitled to directly participate in rescue operations.
